CEFC China Ranks 61st in the List of the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands

On November 28, 2017, the lists of the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands and the World’s Innovative Brands were published in Shanghai, in which CEFC China ranked 61st and 37th respectively with its outstanding performance. Several Chinese brands were listed in the top 50 of the list of World’s 500 Most Influential Brands, includingState Grid, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, PetroChina, Tencent, Huawei and Alibaba. Ye Jianming, Chairman of the Board of CEFC China, was awarded the honorary title of “Brand People of the Year 2017”.


Addressing the opening ceremony on behalf of CEFC China, Jiang Chunyu, Party Secretary of the company commented that World Brands Summit 2017 held in Shanghai was inspiring and encouraging. “Starting from Shanghai, a modern and dynamic metropolis where CEFC China is headquartered, the Summit will reach out to the whole world in the future,” added Jiang.

The ABAS Expert Committee and Asiabrand Ceremony Organizing Committee commented that, Chairman of the Board of CEFC China, Ye Jianming, always attaching great inportance on the brand value building and the unity of knowledge and practice, has significantly promoted sustainable development and enchanced the core competitiveness of CEFC China by making tremendous and persistent efforts in the innovation, influence and promotion of the brand.  CEFC China has been listed in the Fortune 500 for four consecutive years, ranking 222nd in the year 2017 and it also ranked 7th in the 2017 Top 500 Private Enterprises in China. It was also recognized as a “China AAA Grade Credit Enterprise”. CEFC Shanghai International Group Limited, an affiliate of CEFC China, has been on the top of the Top 100 Private Companies in Shanghai for four consecutive years.

The Summit was jointly hosted by Asianbrand.cn, Global Times of People’s Daily and the Corporate Management Magazine of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with ABAS Expert Committee serving as the judge panel. With the theme “Brand Improvement and Brand Innovation”, the Summit brought together numberous distinguished guests from worldwide, including senior government officials, authoritative experts, brand leaders and representatives of world-renowned investment institutions, who focused on the current economic development trends to “decode” regional opportunities for brand development and seek for global development vision of branding.
